Does anyone do online readings? Do you like them, dislike them? I'm thinking about doing some readings online but not sure what site to use. A few friends of mine use keen and like it. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Katelan,
I have done many online readings and had varied success.
People are very polite but sometimes I wonder if there really was much in the reading that was helpful to them. Some I have had rave reviews.
It should be possible to do though, we are all part of one and if it is possible to heal people from a distance then it must be possible to read for them.
If you join a website called Tabi, you can offer to do readings for them for free which could lead to some good leads. I had a bad experience with them though. They actually approached me to do a test reading and when I sent it to them they said that I was not right for them because I read too psychically not factually! Don't know what they meant by that but hey!
A good way to do it is to offer a short free reading first as a teaser then they may well come back for more.
I have been doing on line readings for free just to see how it might work and I have had some amazing compliments and feedback. I do it in a public forum and ask for feedback in order to see how accurate the readings are. I am doing it as practice and to learn how to read cards better.
I have had online readings in the past. Some have been very, very good but those readers were psychic mediums, not strictly reading tarot cards. I did purchase an online tarot reading at one time and was quite disappointed with it. It felt like she was reading each card literally (as if out of the book) or worse - that it was computer generated. There was a bit of blurb in her own words at the end, but on the whole I felt it was a waste of money and a scam.

All the ones I've had have been done by email. And my quality and satisfaction with the service has been varied, just as it is with face-to-face readings so to me the channel of communication doesn't make a difference.

You could start with ebay. I know some very successful readers who started there to gather feedback and testimonials before branching off to their own site.

As a tarot card reader, I have done readings via email and had mixed success. A lot of very good feedback but I wonder if they are genuine (perhaps that's my own self-doubt). I do find that having no verbal feedback at the time of the reading can be a challenge. But that's just me.

That is very interesting about using ebay I would have never thought of that.
