The Wheel of Fortune

I am Gloria Jean, and found this wonderful site through twitter. I am a web site designer, artist and tarot card designer and reader. This post is a few of my thoughts on the Wheel of Fortune, and one of the designs I did for this card.

When the Wheel of Fortune turns up in a reading expect activity to pick up in your life for the wheel is turning as a result of your thoughts and intentions and these things have created a momentum that will take you into a future event.
But because you do not know your own power, the wheel is not completely under your conscious control and that is why it is said to be related to luck or destiny. It is guided by the subconscious that knows more than you do and it is answering your requests for guidance and adventure by way of your conscious thinking. Once you have set things in motion with your intentions the universe responds quickly to your desires. Take your clues from synchronicities and that the wheel is in motion and stay alert to what or where it beckons you to.

In this wheel design I have used the flower of Life as the wheel and it is guided by the higher self and the incarnate (little self) is riding the wheel through life. The higher self guides the wheel according to its desire for its counterpart living in the material worlds, but it is the living counterpart (incarnate) who has the power to command the forces that create her experiences.

Until you that discover your power is what guides the wheel, you will call it fate or destiny, but ultimately you do guide the wheel because you are your higher self.
