Profile Information

profession
My name is Marsha and over the years I have played many roles... Grand-daughter, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, Sunday school teacher, student and most recently healer.

In spirituality, I now follow my deeper knowing which, if one needs to label it or put it in a box... Is an eclectic blend of Buddhism, Druidism, Shamanism, Huna and A Course in Miracles. My favorite role is as a single Grand-mother who enjoys healing and walking a true path.

I am a self-employed Registered Massage Therapist, and own a business called "Dragonfly Massage and Energywork'. I am certified and registered in Therapeutic Massage Thereapy, Triggerpoint, Meridian Tapping and Usui Reiki Grand Master Teacher as well as many other energy systems. I have a Spruz network called Energy's Soul Mission dedicated to sharing alternate cultures, spirituality and healing systems with the idea to knowledge is the way to PEACE.
interests
I love to paint, work in the garden, work with clay, read, write and work on the computer, and walk the dogs. I share my life with 2 dogs, a 3 yr old Yorkie called Miss Ibbie; and Cicada, a 9 yr old Shepherd Staffordshire cross.

Whereas, I enjoy my life as a healer immensely, lately I have developed a tremendous itch to write, I even dream about it.

"Meditation helps me feel the shape, the texture of my inner life. Here, in the quiet, I can begin to taste what Buddhists would call my true nature, what Jews call the still, small voice, what Christians call the holy spirit."

~ Wayne Muller

Each today, well-lived, makes yesterday a dream of happiness and each tomorrow a vision of hope. Look, therefore, to this one day, for it and it alone is life."

~ Sanskrit poem

"Chronos is clocks, deadlines, watches, calendars, agendas, planners, schedules, beepers.
Chronos is time at her worst. Chronos keeps track... Chronos is the world's time.
Kairos is transcendence, infinity, reverence, joy, passion, love, the Sacred.
Kairos is intimacy with the Real. Kairos is time at her best. ...
Kairos is Spirit's time.
We exist in chronos. We long for kairos. That's our duality.
Chronos requires speed so that it won't be wasted.
Kairos requires space so that it might be savored.
We do in chronos. In kairos we're allowed to be ...
It takes only a moment to cross over from chronos into kairos, but it does take a moment.
All that kairos asks is our willingness to stop running long enough to hear the music of the spheres."

Hi Marsh, Love your page and thank you for inviting me over. I am a newly published author and definitely sympathize with that urge to write. My best advice...Just do it!!! I carry a pad and pen everywhere (saves hunting scraps of paper to jot down sudden insights from my muse.) LOL Then I put everything on my computer later. Blessings on your writing and may your muse be kind. Rebecca
