A thought about Strength

The strength card in tarot can denote inner strength. It can represent the fight of ego and spirit. As the ego screams so loudly, the spirit has to be even louder to be heard. The woman on the card has the lion by the mouth, holding it open, as if she has fought the fight to silence the ego. The lion represents ego. The woman represents spirit. The ego roars like a lion, but the strength of spirit-of silence, the strength of spirit, when strong enough, can win the fight and be heard over the ego.
