Sitting at my Grandmothers feet, along with my 3 sisters,my Grandmother in her soft voice would tell us about growing up and every Moment, Sound, Sign and Smell will become important one day. As she spoke of her childhood my sisters and myself listend intently. We hung on her every word. Arena was her name, she told us that what applied to her also applies to us. I was thinking huh? I continued to listen. Arena said, one day you will realise that you each have a special gift. Let this gift grow with you and use it for every 'Moment' it is required of you. When you become lost in your emotions, turn to Mother earth and tell her. Hold your hands up to Father in Heaven and tell him. Then be quiet. Your answer will come in a 'Sound', maybe in the wind,maybe in the creak of a tree, or maybe a voice from your spirit guide. as you grow older you will be tempted by greed, lies, and hurtful people. You know that your mother is not raising you to be weak, you will be shown 'Signs' and these signs you will know because you each have a special gift. When you are adults, you will marry and have children. Teach your children these ways. When your first child is born, you will 'Smell' it's breath. This is the purest of "Smells' called life. Embrace this Life. Continue your generation. And the geneations to come. I told my children in my Mothers stead. Because she died at a young age and die not know her grandchildren. And now, I am honored to have my own grandchildren sit at my feet when I tell them this 5th generation story.
